| The Hispaniola Trogon is the national bird of Haiti, and "Piti, piti, zwazo fe nich" is a Creole phrase translated as, "Little by little, the bird builds its nest." The piece was inspired by friends Dave & MaryAnne, both physical therapists who recently spent time in Haiti assisting amputees who were learning to use new prosthetic devices.. | ||
